The Northeast Area Strings Academy of Wichita wins awards!

 

Daniel J. Sevart Award 2007

NASAW Director, Kay Buskirk
was awarded the first ever
Daniel J. Sevart Award for
Community Service 2007.
This award will be presented
each Spring to Wichita
Symphony Members who
exhibit service to the Wichita
music community. Cindy Cook
nominated Kay and the award
was presented by
Wichita Symphony President,
Jon Tiger and Shoko Sevart
(pictured right).

 

Wichita Arts Council Award for 2002

The Wichita Arts Council named NASAW the Emerging Arts Organization for 2002 (below). We were nominated by Burton Pell, a supporter of NASAW and Chamber Music at The Barn. The award was presented at the Arts Council's annual awards ceremony on October 11, 2002.
